How to get the best results:

- Step 4: Zoom into the result. Use Touch Up to fix any blurry spots with another pass
- Pro tip: Less red = better result. Only highlight the watermark itself, not the area around it. Ctrl+Z to undo anytime.

Quick Guide
Get the best results from each tool
Quick Detect (beta)
Scans the image for text using AI and highlights it in red. A good starting point — it may catch some extra background or miss faint letters. Click any box to deselect, then hit Accept & Continue Editing to zoom in and fine-tune with the Eraser and Smart Brush.
Smart Brush
Touch any letter and the entire connected shape auto-highlights based on color similarity. Adjust the Tolerance slider — lower for precise selection, higher to catch faded text. Great for manually selecting specific watermark text.
Fine Detail Mode
Essential for watermarks over eyes, faces, or intricate textures. Uses a tighter mask with no expansion and gentle blending, so the AI only touches exactly what you marked. Zoom in, use a small brush (size 1-5), and paint only the watermark letters.
Touch Up
After processing, if some areas look blurry or have artifacts, click Touch Up. This loads the result back into the editor so you can paint over just the imperfect spots and run another AI pass. Multiple Touch Up passes can produce great results.

How does the AI removal work?
You highlight the watermark area (manually or with Auto-Detect), then our AI analyzes the surrounding pixels and intelligently reconstructs what should be underneath using advanced inpainting.
The result looks blurry or has artifacts. What can I do?
Use Touch Up for another AI pass on problem areas. For detailed areas like eyes or faces, enable Fine Detail mode and use a very small brush (size 1-5) with zoom. Smaller, tighter masks always produce better results.
What's the Smart Brush?
Smart Brush auto-selects entire letters when you touch them. It works by color similarity — when your brush touches a pixel, it flood-fills all connected pixels of the same color. Adjust the Tolerance slider to control how much it selects.
Can I add watermarks to protect my own images?
Yes! Switch to "Add Watermark" mode. Customize text, font size, opacity, color, position, and tiling. Live preview shows exactly how it'll look. Batch mode lets you watermark multiple images at once.
